You May Be Surprised If You Ask Me “What Can You Fix?”

Three months can produce with good technology

Times have changed. Does that seem like an understatement right now? How we work has changed. Going to school has changed. Church has changed. How we enjoy sports has changed. The list seems endless right now. Oddly, there are some in business who do not realize how much Information Technology has changed and was changing before all our current woes hit the fan. A company CEO asked me in a meeting recently, “So, tell me what all can you fix? Printers? Monitors? Speakers on laptops?”

Managed Service Providers (MSPs) Are An Industry

The definition of what managed service providers are expected to be and do these days has changed as dramatically as our other necessary life and business processes have. It is so much more than just “what can we fix?” Yet in the scheme of an overall business, an MSP has to “fix” parts of a company just like other departments must. The Sales department must determine how much revenue it can bring in. The Operations department must determine how much will be needed to produce each day. And unless you have a business that does not require computers, an MSP must determine what will be needed to participate competitively in commerce.

Some Of My Favorite Contributions To A Business

We start with an understanding of your business so we can assess what you already have for Information Technology (hardware, software, etc.) If it is adequate, then we gauge what you will need next, when you will need it, and what it might cost. Part of our service is knowing the latest and greatest in IT evolution so that you can have what you need for that leading edge in your industry. We check all your security, and we can train owners and staff to recognize attempts to infiltrate company data. We set up a disaster recovery plan so you won’t lose time if you are attacked. Education about how computers should be working for you and about cybersecurity are, I believe, the top two requisites for a good MSP. Most people barely use the plethora of functions on their cell phones. How can they also know how best to use their computers at work if they are not trained in those functions?

We Are There For You Without Having To Be “There”

We monitor your computer functions 24/7 to prevent issues, we have solutions to “how can we make your technology better” and of course we answer your “why is this happening?” We don’t need office space or office equipment. We don’t expect paid time off or other company benefits. We never call in sick. We take care of complex operations that you do not have to even pretend to understand. So yes–we can fix things. Lots of things. Primarily though, we strive to ensure your technology functions as dependably as turning on the lights each morning.  We want your technology to work for you and your team without you having to worry about it.
